WHAT IS A HOMESCHOOL CO-OP?
Like homeschool support groups, co-ops are formed in part to enable homeschool families to come together for fun, fellowship, and socializing. While support groups may meet for play-dates, field trips and other get-togethers, co-ops tend to be more regimented, with specific schedules and regular classes for the students to attend.
For more information, see our ABOUT US page.
Our HIGH Day co-op has a list of rules and requirements that each family must follow.
1. Families must agree to abide by the STATEMENT OF FAITH.
2. Families must agree to abide by the CODE OF CONDUCT.
3. Families must read and understand all HD policies and guidelines, including the ABSENTEE POLICY, LESSON PLAN POLICY, and CURRENT YEAR POLICIES.
4. Families must pay all tuition fees on time. Tuition may be paid by semester or in full and is $75 per semester, per family, no matter family size.
5. Every member is required to commit to the following:
Teach one class per semester. (see TEACHER AND HELPER DUTIES).
Assist as helper in one class per semester.
Volunteer for at least one JOB SHARING TASK.
Sign-up and bring snacks for the Moms' Lounge for one Friday.
Read all HIGH Day related e-mails.
Log-in at the FORUM BOARD and read any new announcements at least once a week.
In order for our co-op to be a success, each family must commit to these rules and contribute in any other ways possible. Remember, we all bring different skills, knowledge, and abilities to the table and only by working together can we create the best possible group for all of us.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to CONTACT US at any time. Thanks!
